Our Story
Where it all began for Freedom and Falcon Travel & Tours.
Freedom and Falcon Travel was established in 1995 by Mr AM Felton. Mr Felton started out in the taxi industry and gained exposure to the tourism industry by driving backpackers to and from the airport. The opportunities available for black operators was minimal and only thorough long hours of hard work and overflow from other companies kept Freedom and Falcon Travel in operation and it is with this perseverance that this company is still in operation today.
Creating a professional product that caters to the needs of our visitors has been a challenge and through trial and error Freedom and Falcon Travel were able to provide an unforgettable experience that will be remembered and recommended to those returning back home. South Africa is beautiful country with many scenic routes but the real beauty lies with the warmth and hospitality of its people.
As a pioneer of tours into the townships Mr Felton was instrumental in the development of tours into these previously neglected areas of our country and visitors can experience the hope and pride of our previously disadvantaged communities and the fact that our country is on the move to creating a better life for all our people.

Freedom and Falcon Travel has been actively involved in many projects to assist in bettering the lives of our people. We have experienced many new challenges after the years of apartheid and many communities face the scourge of gangsters and drugs that is destroying the lives of many of our young people. Besides being a pioneer of tours into the townships, Freedom and Falcon Travel gives 20% of proceeds back to community upliftment. We also created a project, a musical production called Prison Codes. The focus was to educate our young people on the harsh reality of prison life and how the experience can alter ones life forever.
We continue to provide the best travel and tourism experience possible and are actively involved in the best Tourism events like WTM London, ATM in Dubai and also the ITB in Berlin.
